At this stage our customers receive a printable package including:

  • Standard construction details
  • Approvals of Hilti products
  • Structural calculation reports
  • Profile cutting instructions

Transfer attachment points

The installation and positioning of the brackets is done using total station which simplifies the marking of fastening points in the vertical plane on facades and walls.

Hilti measuring systems help you achieve a precise installation of the ventilated facade and transfer the attachment points in line with the architect’s design.

Install brackets

Bracket fasteners are used to anchor substructures to load-bearing base materials. The most common bracket fastening methods are anchor fastening on brick and concrete, screw fastening on timber or steel and direct fastening on concrete.

Hilti offers the right mounting system for every base material which in combination with our tools increases your productivity and ensures quick and precise installation.

Fasten insulation

Thermal insulation up to 200 mm can be easily and efficiently fixed in concrete with insulation fasteners. The system X-IE and DX 5 sets standards in terms of safety and speed. Of course, we also offer the matching anchor or screw-in solution for fixing insulation for all base materials.

Align and fasten profiles

Type of profiles

Panels are installed on aluminium, steel or wood profiles

Delivery

Profiles are usually delivered in 6,0 m or 3,0 m length.

Alignment

For precise alignment, use Hilti rotating laser.

Installation

The distance between profiles is as stated in the manufacturer’s guideline:

  • Each panel has a guideline about the maximum distance between profiles allowed.
  • The distance could be smaller due to wind loads requirements of the project or poor quality of the base material.

Install Facade panels

The customer and architect jointly determine which cladding material will be used for the design of the facade. We work together with the panel manufacturers on fastening solutions that make your installation faster and safer.

The cladding may be fastened using a visible or concealed system. The number and type of fasteners to be used depend on the static design calculations. The position of the fasteners must be taken into account in the static design calculations and the manufacturer’s instructions regarding maximum spacing must be adhered to.
