HILTI FOX T BRACKET

MAXIMISE STRENGTH.

Our FOX-T vertical and horizontal systems prevent thermal bridging in substructures for ventilated facades, by minimising the thermal conductivity of the bracket and reducing the heat loss impact of the substructure below 3%.

Minimised thermal bridging

FOX-T Glass-fibre reinforced plastic and aluminium composite design provides low thermal conductivity as well as extremely high strength.

Insulating material thickness can thus be reduced or (alternatively) a considerably higher U-value can be achieved, reducing the building’s heating and air-conditioning bills.

FULLY COMPATIBLE

FOX-T is suitable for use on all structural materials and compatible with all popular types of facade cladding systems. As the thermal imaging simulation shows, conventional supporting structures have a negative effect on facade insulation. The FOX-T system, however, virtually eliminates thermal bridging, in compliance with EN ISO 10211-1.

The FOX-T bracket has undergone standard fire testing and holds the C-s1, d0 Euroclass fire classification. Moreover, it meets the standard for Passive house.

FOX VT System

The system consists of profiles plus wall brackets that eliminate thermal bridging and is specifically designed for vertical substructures in ventilated facades. The wall brackets are supplied with a powder-coated base plate, according with the method of installation on the base material – anchors, screws and direct fastening – with the appropriate hole geometries in the base plate.

FOX HT System

The system consists of profiles plus wall brackets that eliminate thermal bridging and is specifically designed for horizontal substructures in ventilated facades. Thanks to the vertical fastening of the brackets, optimal load transfer to the base material can be realized. The wall brackets are supplied with a powder-coated base plate, according with the method of installation to the base material – anchors, screws and direct fastening – with different hole geometries in the base plate. In addition to the pre-assembled connection screw, the bracket offers an easy and efficient installation method.

HILTI FOX VTR SYSTEM

THE THERMAL BRIDGE REDUCED SOLUTION FOR VENTILATED FACADE SYSTEMS

Thermal bridge-free solutions can be used to meet the highest requirements for energy efficiency of the building. Often, however, we are faced with the situation where the EnEV requirements shall be met, but a thermal bridge-free solution is not necessarily required. Here comes our new Stainless steel bracket.

The Hilti MFT-FOX VTR stainless steel class A4 is now a new addition to our range: it reduces the heat transfer in comparison to our aluminum brackets and ensures energy efficiency and lower operating costs of the building. It is compatible with all standard facade cladding and holds high loads.

A further advantage of our new bracket results from a fire protection view, since stainless steel is considered non-combustible according to EN 13501-1. Therefore, stainless steel brackets are also approved for high-rise facades.
